Your neck or cervical spine is made up of 7 vertebra and each bone should move freely in a number of directions while not interferring with the spinal nerves traveling between neighboring vertebra. This is a very delicate and sensitive operation and trauma from accidents, poor posture, jarring etc. can start problems. Loss of motion or moility and alignment can produce inflamation and lead to osteoarthritic changes. These misalignments called Subluxations are what the Chiropractor corrects. Problems in your neck can produce numbness and tingling in the arm and hands, also be the reason your shoulder, elbow or wrist won't heal.
